Overrated ass D.O.C :beli: single was hot but I didn't like the album nikka got old real quick
his voice got fukked up when he was the "hot new nikka" so that energy never died

wasn't even the dopest new artist from the west that year

Def Jef's album >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Divine Styler album >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I was playing this shyt

Paris dropped a bit later and was 10x better than D.O.C.

by whom tho??

the types that had jt money ranked up there with rakim as well?
Just off the strength you put JT Money and D.O.C in the same category proves you don't even know hip hop, will not waste my time on discussing the impact D.O.C. had on hip hop and emceeing

Thought this thread would have been closer due to east coast bias

I didn't put jt money in the same category as DOC. I see that I'm talking over your head.

what impact did DOC have on emceeing when dam near his entire style was already dated before he dropped??

this is why I asked that question in the previous post. DOC is a legend and all, but where are your from, thinking he was on some groundbreaking chit?

It’s gotta be DOC.
He actually made a classic while he was alive with a monster single that got radio and video play all through the 90s in CA.

I’m a much bigger fan of L, but his potential ceiling was Beanie Sigel or Camron. :yeshrug:
DOC potentially would have been all over the second NWA album and then the Chronic. :ohhh:
Deep Cover with DOC and Dre. :ohhh:
Early 90s Dre >>> Kanye and Just Blaze :yeshrug:

Nah son. DOC was basically Jeru before Jeru really. A really good rapper who had the luxery of a :cape:producer to get a classic. He wasnt going to change the face of rap like yall making it out to be. Snoop had superstar elements to him with his laidback vocals, super trendy, dark comedy, and witb his futuristic delivery so why would u want to replace him with boring ass DOC.:usure:
