i got both i think the gaming gods everydayI’m surprised I got this shyt right on launch day considering how hard it is to get. Even the series X is impossible to find. I have a feeling both PS5 and Series x will do better than their predecessors if they can keep up with the demand.

I should have bought 5 or 6The first day was the easiest to get it, I kind of regret hesitating. People bought like 20-30 from Target

they had to have some general idea it was gonna get this crazy...
COVID-19 caused the global supply of Switches, a 3 year old console, to dry up overnight. And it's still that way, 8 months later.
Sony's bullshytting. They absolutely saw this coming. Same with MS. This a supply-side constructed shortage to build hype, Nike-style.
I'll give you the supply chain issues; things got a lot tighter for Foxconn. But selling at a loss is something they make up for pretty quickly on their high profit margin items like first party titles and controllers. Spider-man: Miles Morales didn't exactly have TLOU2's dev time or price tag.Covid also affected supply chains all over. Plus, considering they're taking a loss on the intial consoles, I'm sure they're not going to want to over do the supply amount. Be easy, fool.

The hard truth is that these launches are tight on purpose. It's been this way since the N64.
There's some tightness strategy to it for sure, but they're pumping out 11 mill consoles in less than 6 months. That's an absurd amount as is.
Didn’t Sony say before launch that they were shipping out more PS5’s then PS4’s this time around?
