Im not worried about all that a used Nissan GTR is just as good as a brand new one.

I told myself in 5yrs I'd have my dream car new, pre-owned, or used no matter what.

This thread is really about luxury cars, a GTR is a specialty car available in limited quantities and will hold it's value.

Breh I went to private school and lived in a rich neighborhood also (you not the only one) and damn near everybody had at least bmw level cars which I said but maybe you were just trying to be that guy not to pay attention. Most people with money ain't in no fukking beat ass datsuns stop it.

Felt like i had to chime in here.

My sisters godparents are RICH but you wouldnt know it. Every ten years they just buy brand new fully loaded ford's for the whole family. I think the most expensive car they have is like 50K and they negotiated so im sure they got it for less. BUT! They also have their on plane (Citation X) and a sport fisherman boat that has two bedrooms and looks like a small yacht. They go Marlin fishing with it. At one point the guy bought himself a 911 but got rid of it because he wasnt driving it much

Then i have another friend i met on GoldRush Rally and he recently sold his website for 20 Milly and the first thing he did was buy a house and an Aventador roadster.

The guy with the Aventador isnt as rich as the first set of people i just mentioned but these two examples stand out to me because of that "rich people drive regular cars" bullshyt. Just because rich people arent spending their money on cars doesnt mean they aint spending it.

One of my sister's godparents friend has over 25 cars but theyre all old Jeep Wranglers because that's what he likes to collect.

Same story here. I've seen more BMWs and Benzes per street in the hoods and working class neighborhoods than I've seen per street in upper class neighborhoods. Whether in the city or in the suburbs.

That's not to say well-to-do people don't drive high end cars. They do and it's common. But there seems to be more concentration put on cars by people who are trying to look like they have money instead of actually having it. Which leads to more luxury whips being driven around working class/middle income neighborhoods than upper class neighborhoods.

let's be real, in the grand scheme, cars are the easiest things to get. It's not as easy getting boats, three-floor condos downtown or rare art pieces. But any dude with a couple grand can walk in the dealership and walk out with something nice.

Some rich people drive nice and others drive regular. What makes them rich is that the car doesn't really matter.

I guess I meant maintenance and repair. Yes, a good mechanic can keep a luxury car running good, but some parts are expensive, or at least multiple times more expensive than the same kind of part from a domestic car. A cap and rotor is kind of inexpensive but it costs about four times as much for an old BMW than an old GM.

Lol that's what I'm saying if you are a regular dude pulling up at the avg club/night spot with any acura, infinity, German 3, while not bentley, rolls level you still doing good compared to what most people have in the lot. That's all I'm saying you can have a luxury car but to act like dudes pushing datsuns for gp when they don't have to isn't the norm at all. A chick at my gym has that same acura.

EXACTLY! Im the same exact way. I cant drive a car knowing theres a newer body of it out. Its either the newest one or nothing. Id rather get a brand new toyota then get a prev-gen 6 series or something

its funny...I called the Rover dealer to see how they wanted to charge for an oil change. Dude quoted me $225 or some dumb shyt. Even had the nerve to say they had to "suction" the oil from the top...

Took the rover to some dudes across the street...they put it on a lift. Saw that the rover got a shield at the bottom with 8 bolts...we removed them joints and saw the drain plug. Brought my own synthetic oil and filter....gave them $20....out a total of $75 because the filter was expensive and I should have ordered of amazon.....fukk the dealer
