FTL really depends on the nature of the universe. Also we have never really found a wormhole and even if we did we have no idea how to use negative energy or exotic matter. You're right we don't know and these questions will probably not be answered
In just a couple hundred years we will have unimaginable computing power...we'll see

It's all THEORETICALLY possible..... Just because the math allows the possibility doesn't mean it's true. It's like that ancient aliens show, people take possibilities as fact even on topics like this. It's all theoretical not fact.

The fermi paradox sounds like pseudoscience

I don't have an explanation...but if you're too daft to not see the number of assumptions being made here, then I can't help you.

"Moving forward, we have no choice but to get completely speculative."

Comment without reading, brehs.

I didn't need to read it. I'm a scientist. I already know more about this than you ever will. You do NOT want to test me on this, I will EMBARRASS you.

300-400 years humanity makes it to another planet.
So many things wrong with this statement.
For one the closest habitable planets are light years away, and we are thousands of years from developing light speed or FTL travel. Secondly, even if we had the technology, fuel is another issue, and thirdly even if all the aforementioned were possible, do you really think the wealth gap would have resolved itself? At best the very rich and then the valuable members of society would be taken and the rest of us would be left here to die. Nah humanity is dead, we could reverse the damages, but no one cares enough for that to happen.

Humanity being human life, of course 8 billion people aren't going to another planet. A few hundred or thousand would suffice. in 300-400 years from now barring an E.L.E. humans will have colonized the moon or mars.

Son one of those isn't even a planet. I don't know how you think people are going to adapt to gravity on the moon that quickly, let alone the lack of an atmosphere. And neither the moon nor mars has liquid water. With all due respect, I don't think you're informed enough to be speaking on this subject

WTF isn't this a theoretical subject. With all do respect I could give a shyt what you think about what I think about. And I think within 300-400 years we will have colonized the moon.

If theorizing is pointless nothing would ever come to fruition. there's only so much one is capable of in one lifetime

Theorizing is fine, dealing with present-day realities is FAR more important.

Worrying about what may exist on other planets detracts from the very real problems on THIS one.
