People always want the easy way out and think everyone else has it easy.

Fast food was never meant to support adults. Never. It's a fukking business model. If you don't like it do what everyone else does and get certified or an education and then you're guaranteed more money

There's no reason in the world that mcdonalds is a billion dollar enterprise and cant pay people a higher wage. The same people whose blood, sweat, and tears BUILT that enterprise. And im not saying that high level execs don't deserve high wages, it just shouldn't be a case of them buying their 3rd yacht when the average worker cant afford payments on a 2005 Corolla.

It varies. A 16 year old doesnt need 15 an hour. But a grown man trying to support his family does deserve atleast 15 to survive.

If you're in NYC I get it, but a min wage of $15 nationwide? No that's not going to work.

It's ignorant and naive to think businesses are going to cut into profit to raise prices. They're are going to want to keep their margins and raise the price of goods and services.


Fight for higher wages in NYC all you want. That makes sense. But nationwide? It's not going to happen.

The fact of the matter is that about everyone is pretty much underpaid. These dumbasses are legit mad at people who work certain jobs full time needing at least enough pay to get by, but not mad at these corporations who grossly under pay everyone keeping wages stagnant while continuing to raise the prices on their shyt. A lot of em are these same people who bytch about having to work an ungodly amount of hours per week but got nerve to look down on food, retail and other workers acting as if they too aren't expendable worker bees No wonder this country is gonna be third world status soon, too many fukking idiots mad at symptoms and not the disease.

The CEO is God to the like of @StickStickly and she doesn't mind the average CEO making 500 times the amount per employee. If the CEO was making only 50 times the amount than the worker, like back in the 70s, then the income inequality wouldn't exist.

These CEOs be.on some slick shyt like "gas prices forced us to raise the prices of goods" when gas prices are now falling, but the price of their already overpriced inventory still remains the same

Not the god. It's a fuking position breh. It's their job is to make money for the stock holders and make the brand successful. If you can't understand that you don't get business. The fast food business model is cheap food and lower wages, meant for people who aren't supporting entire families and meant to be transient short term jobs, not careers.


Listen, if you want more money get a better fuking job. If you can't, better your skills so that you qualify. Literally everyone else in this country does that. You can't just say just because I have these life circumstances I should make more money in my low level job. No you need to get a better job.
