Honestly I feel like Monique didn't take advantage of her prime years back when she was younger, had she built an actual career after The Parkers.

I say that because after that show ended she never really reached any higher, I mean before Bernie Mac died he was reaching Hollywood status (basically he was already there) and had he lived most likely he'd be big right now.

I feel she slacked off heavily leading up to her role in Precious which somewhat revitalized her career for a short time.
