As I understand it, the black community is the only group whose women outpace the men in terms of employment.
This part is true & plays into self worth...which can lead to terrible decisions...especially with relationships.

Not true & especially now. Leaders don't have to be famous for them to be leaders.
I DO believe that women & children should be protected by men. However, I think it's so dangerous to get into a struggle war. This practice diminishes one sex's experiences to garner greater resources for their own. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a focus, but this rhetoric is the opposite of collective building IMO.

We are encouraged even to have periods in our maturation of sexual conquest. Even better if you are honest and can do it guilt free. Our society doesn't allow that for women and demonizes them for the same behaviors men exhibit. Just a terrible double standard that gives women moments of pause where there really should be none.
