I’m obviously not referring to this year’s team, but a lot of people like to discredit Rose’s MVP and retroactively saying LeBron got robbed. Rose was literally carrying those Bulls teams to the best record in the NBA.

My point is how can Ja be MVP if his team plays so well without him?
Ja the leader of this team regardless. Even on the sideline, he's doing a little coaching.

According to y'all, in order for Ja to MVP, Grizzlies needed to lose every game he missed, putting them in the 9th seed possibly.

He can't help that hes so good that they made sure he had a good team around him.

Same will be said for your Warriors, can’t wait to see u fukk nikkas in the 2nd round :mjlit:

you don’t want to see us at full strength that’s your problem having that irrational confidence
We ain’t the same that what you need to realize… go to 5 finals in a row and win 3 of them then we can have a convo.. keep thinking that regular season hero shot means anything.. we went 73-9 homie it don’t mean shyt.. Prove y’all selves in the playoffs first and real talk that 7th seed comes down to Minn or the Clips, y’all better home y’all draw the lakers

15-1 against teams with losing records or was missing a star player.

12guys who have started at least 1 game this year cray

Lakers have 16 guys who have started a game this year, 12 who have started 10+. :russ:

Westbrook - 72
LeBron - 54
Avery Bradley - 42
A.D. - 37
Malik Monk - 30
Stanley Johnson - 22
DeAndre Jordan - 19
Dwight - 19
THT - 16
Austin Reaves - 14
Ariza - 10
Ellington - 9
Carmelo - 3
Wenyen Gabriel - 3
Isiah Thomas - 1

Like half that list might not even be on a roster if it wasn't for L.A. and yet they're starting Laker games. :mjlol:

Didn't the Raps do something similar in their championship year with Kawhi?
Yeah, they were 17-5 without Kawhi

That's the comp I immediately thought of.

Rose only missed one game his MVP season, but the year after he played 39 of 66 games. Bulls were 32-7 with Rose that year and 18-9 without.

That's not as good a comp to me because the team was clearly lacking a lot with him gone. Still does show they weren't as weak a cast as certain folk tried to make them out to be.
