I had to get a new birth certificate last summer. I had to take off work for a full day, present my passport (you know, that thing over half of the population doesn't have) and they mailed it to me 3 weeks later. This would have been an even bigger pain in the ass if I lived in a different state

Better get them ID's now. They're gutting every department federal and eventually state. Probably will take 9 months to get a driver's license or a fukking passport soon.
