The only publicly acknowledged base is Dijbouti, again this isn't in dispute, the publicly acknowledged part, that said too much info was posted in this thread detailing US outposts in Africa that you initially denied existed but after I showed you the map and then had to actually show you the article with the map that had the US confirming the presence of these outposts, now you have gone to only talking about publicly confirmed bases on the continent.

The article if you will read it tells you there is a great deal of US presence in the region and the US plans to increase its presence by its own word, you seem to want to ignore everything that was posted and talked about to because your initial objection was clearly wrong. Pedantry isn't when someone states the US has military outposts all over Africa and then posts articles detailing US presence, it is when someone denies the outposts exist, claims the maps are a lie, and nothing is real and when exposed to the fact that all of it is real and documented by the US government, tries to circle back and claim well I was only talking about Djibuti and permanant bases.

Everything is documented, your attempts to dismiss it entirely failed now you've tried to move on to a new tactic of claiming well its over exagerating, even though the article posted states that these outposts have airstrips on them and enough resources to support 200 men, even when other articles detail the use of private contractors and facilities as well that supports the US government direct outposts.

LIke I said we aren't arguing about what you accept at true or not, we will agree to disagree, what is being discussed is the way you refuse to accept how you were completely and totally wrong.

just for the record. I'm not saying what this guy said was OK. I'm just saying in general that without context words mean nothing, and to say that a person of a certain skin color can't say certain words....I just can't agree with it.


However, in this context (as well as some other things he has said) he seems to be someone trying to be edgy and use controversial writing to get noticed.
