Best thing for the Knicks would be for Melo to sign elsewhere. Unfortunately, Amare got injured too much. If that didn't happen, the Knicks would of been a East Coference appearance team. If you do resign Melo, try to snag Demarcus Counsins in a year or two, other than that they're stuck in perrineal mediocrity mode(ala 2009 - 2012 ATL Hawks) :scusthov:
Not true at all no hawk was ever as good as Melo and their are a bunch of potential players to bring in with Melo we have no history to say he can't make it work

Your just showing your Melo hate so ill ignore you breh .

.

*proceeds to quote me 2 more times* :heh:

you didn't even read the post you quoted to be saying the bullshyt you said.
:patrice: sooo your just going to act like the garden wasn't undergoing renovations for 3 years and can't hold as many events ?? The Knicks can't even play their yet and the rangers can't either . By the way you know the damn nets aren't running any city :snoop: why are you always so negative towards the Knicks ? You predicted them to be worse than the nets last year too

Actually the Barclays are gonna still be there to put a dent in MSG in terms of concerts, shows, shyt like that. It's been doing that while MSG has been up. It's not as if MSG will get everything back that they had before. A lot of events prefer how new and different the Barclays Center is. The renovations are more or less a cosmetic change that's supposed to make MSG not look like the oldest sporting facility in town.

As for the Nets, if the Knicks would have to start over while the Nets would be competing for titles, YES, the Nets will run shyt. Nobody's immune to that shyt here. If you're rebuilding or perpetually in suck mode, the other team's gonna get more attention as long as they're not trash. The Yankees, Giants, Rangers to an extent, they can't avoid that. What would make the Knicks any different now that they have competition in their city?

I love it! According to you, I'm a Melo hater and a Knicks hater. According to @kingofnyc I'm a Net hater. Y'all need to powwow and make up your minds.

I didn't say Melo wasn't a franchise player, I just said you guys will likely be stuck being a second round exit team. The FA game for the next two years looks bleak, plus there aren't young stars that you can trade for. Not too mention, you have to deal w/ the Heat; Pacers, and Nets this year, and possibly the Wizards and Pistons in 2+ years.

Maybe you can snag Counsins in a year or two. Melo will be 30 next year, and there are no second options to complement Melo on the Knicks roster. Obviously Dolan won't trade Melo, but starting over from scratch would probably be the best option.

Yawn another year another trip Knicks hate post . Be sure to disappear like you did last year when they did good only to pop up at times of distress ... Oh and keep saying to give Jeremy Lin that poison pill deal

You take people being realistic as hate. This line from the article sums up my feelings toward the Knicks:

I worry about the Knicks locking themselves into pricey above-averageness.

And we all know this is what's going to happen.

Short term and long term problem is their irrelevant ass franchise is stuck in the same conference with the Heat and they resigned the same dumbass dude that is never going to improve while the GOAT donk having Rican scoring forward is stuck with a chicken legged fakkit as his center

Lowe defended the Knicks all last season when people were shytting on them, saying he thought they were legit when they ran out the gates early.

He says multiple times in the article that it's possible the Knicks can do damage if things break right for them, so I don't get how you read this as "a Knicks bashing piece plain and simple"

Dude knows his shyt, and he backs up his position in the piece. You can disagree with it, but you can't write the whole thing off because you think he hates the Knicks.
Did he pick the Knicks before the season? He may know his stuff but trading Melo for pau is a horrible deal and to suggest it is asinine , and he points out he doesn't know how the new players will do in Woodson system and the Knicks can get free agents ... Starting from scratch and trading melo as if he has a team as good as say kd , cp3 ( man universally thought to be better than Melo yet can't go further than him in the playoffs ) , bron etc . When your whole point seems to be acting like the Knicks can't improve despite improving 3 years straight I'll pass and ignore your point

Lol, you have yet to address Schroeder in any of your post. I know it must hurt your heart everytime you see him getting praised by the media as they're starting to shift their attention away from that failure you all have in NY. Also, we don't care about CP3, he's another bum that hasn't led a team anywhere. Young Schroeder >> CP3And we not even gonna talk about what will happen once Bebe comes over next year from Spain. We getting younger and getting better. Enjoy signing over-the-hill, low basketball IQ players :scusthov:

:why: nikka is u crazy

:pachaha: Y'all Atlanta nikkas is the most delusional people on earth.

Y'all Coli dudes gonna let him get away with this asinine comment?:beli:

I don't know who he picked last season, but he wrote numerous times last season that people shouldn't write the Knicks hot start off, and he even said they were the opponent who would scare Miami the most in the playoffs.

And he never said the Knicks can't improve, he said a lot of things need to break right for them to do so and pointed out all those things. He never said anything in the article that he knew for sure the Knicks would suck, he showed their flaws from last season and isn't sure this years roster can improve on them enough to make a title run. It's not like he wrote "Knicks suck, they gonna miss the postseason because I don't like em". He never guarantees they can't improve, and there is no guarantee that they will improve either.

The point of the article is he thinks the Knicks could have a future of being an above average team, but never good enough to make a title run. Which if Melo is re-signed and you can't find a 2nd Superstar is entirely possible. And he never says the Knicks can't get free agents, but there is just as good a chance that the stars of the 2015 FA class have all been locked up long term by then.
