The last job on Earth:
imagining a fully automated world

Imagine a world without work – one where those who own the technology get rich from it, while everyone else ekes out a living, propped up by an increasingly fragile state. In this short film, we meet Alice – holder of the last recognisable job on Earth, as she tries to make sense of her role in a fully automated world. Video courtesy of Guardian Animations.

What a sad, pathetic system where developing technology so people have to work less is cause for an existential crisis :scusthov:
How will the plebs have self worth and an identity if they don't have to work 100 hours a week!

The movie Wall-E gave is a good idea what people will do when all the jobs are gone, combined with that Samsung Smart report ....
