You brought up a heated topic of debate when it comes to 4K.
You'll see people argue that 4K is 4K no matter the brand, or the size of the TV.
The hard data shows that the size of the screen absolutely matters, and if you've ever done a side by side comparison of different brands/tvs you'll see that not all TVs are created equal.
Some have better image quality than others. It creates an even more complicated argument when you throw in video games; Which game looks better on which TV? Native or Checkerboard 4K? HDR or No HDR?
I would say, save up a decent amount of cash. Enough to get a Samsung or LG 4K TV at least 50" with HDR.
Otherwise, stay with a 1080p set until you have the money. These things aren't necessarily cheap, but the holidays are coming up so you might be able to catch a few decent sales.
Also, the price of these TVs has been going down fairly quickly, so don't feel like you have to jump and get one right away.
Just understand that the resolution improvements the PS4Pro (and the XB1X) offer, can only be seen on a 4K TV and depending on your viewing distance, you can have a 4K TV and still not even see the difference, so you have to make sure you get one the right size to fit your viewing space.
