Ricochet shyts on the IWC in this interview

How is your current relationship with the internet wrestling community (IWC)? You’ve seemingly been a little more active on social media in your post WWE-career...
Ricochet: “I mean, honestly, I don’t care. I don’t care because although there are people within the IWC that are sane and have common sense and can read social cues and can put pieces together … it’s honestly just kind of filled with morons who think social media is their outlet to say whatever they want. And it’s not just me who thinks this. Everyone says it, whether it’s basketball people or football people or wrestlers or whomever, they all say the same thing, and they all know what social media is, and they all know the people who use social media.
“At the end of the day, who cares what the IWC thinks? Because, honestly, most of them will never even know what it’s like to be a part of a wrestling promotion or make decisions or do anything. And I get you’ve been watching for 40 years, but that doesn’t mean you’re smart. It doesn’t mean you have good ideas. It doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about. Also, on the other hand, what do they say? Any publicity is good publicity? But especially with wrestling, it’s like, if you’re going to come on and say that I suck, I’m going to respond and say, ‘You suck.’ Because that’s how it works, like you don’t just get to tell me that I suck and I don’t say anything to you. … And then that, my response gets more comments and engagements than the original guy telling me that I sucked gets, you know what I’m saying? And it’s because people just want to talk. People love to talk. It’s fun to talk, and it’s just it sucks that most of them don’t have the capacity in their head to talk about what they want to talk about."
