Lots of people switched to max for the quality alone but yeah 500k is a little sus but not out of the realm of possibility

I think the TV viewership dropped by 100k after live stream to Max (~700k to 600k). I would assume that 100k migrated to Max. I would also assume maybe another 100-200k got added from Max streaming. If they're getting 600k from TV + 100k from those that switched to Max + 100-200k additional from Max, that would put them at 800-900k which is likely more realistic.

But that's just me mathing like I'm Dave Meltzer

feel like they easily doing over 750k total even if the MAX numbers not released. and thats minimum, prolly even hit 1 mill. US has damn near 350M people if not that already. the smaller venues have worked out better for them too. ratings don't tell us where the viewership is spread out thru. not sure if it even counts both airings cuz I think west coast gets their feed later on at night. i know TK be tweeting some times about watching on TBS or TNT West. likely does count for both tho. of course MAX numbers are in general like any other streaming service since it appears at the same time everywhere. moat people can only watch on tv instead of attend a show tho.

All we know from WBD is they are "happy" with the numbers and there's the journalist dude who said he had the inside info from people. I wouldn't be shocked at 500k because max has 60 million subscribers in the U.S. alone

They are definitely back over a million per episode given that Dynamite is still 650-700k on TBS alone

There's 65 million cable subscribers in the U.S. and around 60 million max subscribers in the U.S. There's some overlap there but how much realistically? Most people who cut cable have a couple streamers and that's it.

It was always obvious that AEW was going to add viewers once they started streaming on max. There's millions of people who have max but don't have TBS.

I got rid of YouTube TV back in mid December. Been watching exclusively on Max ever since.
