Sounds like there’s been some contact

Honestly that’s the way it should be now for anyone, especially the ex-WWE people who have exclusively or largely only wrestled in WWE. Some of them just don’t have it what it takes to exist outside the WWE system.

That’s not to say some of them don’t have the talent, because many of them absolutely do, but some of them just don’t have the mentality or even the desire to work anywhere but WWE.

But her saying that is a really good attitude to have. AEW isn’t a charity case for ex-WWE anymore. Chances are if WWE cuts/doesn’t re-sign someone now, they’re going to have to go on the indie grind to pay the bills.

That sounds good but what indies are there really now to do even do that when AEW owns ROH and WWE owns Evolve/TNA?

The womens division has come a very very long way from the need for a Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa to main event. Hopefully ROH is restructured to become actual developmental and can work in younger indy names

It doesn’t really matter, every indie booking is an opportunity to show off your character and in-ring work. Ain’t none of them coming up with a character for you unless you’re going to school at the ones that are tied to a wrestling school.
