so a coworker (well former now) who had attempted on more than one occasion to throw me under the bus/exclude me from important meetings/bad mouth me to other coworkers and friends in the business etc, just got let go.

he was able to see me at my desk from his as he was packing his things up. when i heard the news i was

needless to say i was not cc'd on his goodbye email to the trading floor but i'm thinking of taking the fwd'd copy, replying to his new personal email address he included, and saying

"good luck "

there was a group of us talking about it when we heard the news and i looked up across the room and he was staring us down like he already knew what we were discussing. normally when someone on the floor gets let go they at least say good bye to a few people before they walk out. this guy literally threw like 5 things in a bag, clicked send on his good bye email and stormed out without a word.

i'm not the type to wish badly upon others but this guy literally went out of his way to try and bring me down professionally for absolutely no reason other than the fact he is much older than i am with less seniority. i almost stood up and hit him w the
