So they plan on moving my current position out of the Atlanta office to Jacksonville Florida by the end of October , but I got a call from my company's competitor that they will have a position available for me by July or September and that I'm their top priority

But I want that severance package from my current company cause I'm not moving to wacksonville, Florida.

Did they say they are going to give you severance if you don't plan on moving to the new city?
