That bad breath blow back on the bus is the worst. Chilling listening to your music or enjoying a the sounds of a good bus then get hit with the sewer mouth fumes of the person in front of you. Trip ruined.

Basically I got hired and unhired in a span of 30 minutes

I was listening to Dave Ramsey yesterday and this lady called about how her and her husband were deep in debt and working on getting their finances straight. The issue was that the husband's brother was asking the family to chip in (everyone give him $200) to help him move and she was legit like "we don't have it". The family was trying to guilt her by saying "it's ONLY $200 dollars and it's apart of our culture to help each other out"

Dave Ramsey asked her "Well what if he needed $200,000?" The lady was like "Well no one would have money for that". LOL he was like exactly!! it's not about family culture it's about people's perception of what you can afford. I had a similar situation last week where I was asked to give $20 to something by the end of that week and I said I didn't have it. My mom was like "It's only $20" and I straight up told her $50 gets me gas for a week, if I only put in $30 I'm going to run out and whose going to put gas in my car for the rest of the week?

She still hasn't answered me. I think people need to value money a little more. "It's only..." whatever means a lot to a person that keeps track of their money. Give me some notice and I can squeeze it in my budget but your financial emergency is not mine.
