How do you quit your job that you recently just started? :dwillhuh:

I started this job a couple of months ago and shyt has been cool thus far and they pay is good so I'm straight with it, plus it's what I like to do and it's with a good company.

But the other day I got an email from a recruiter for this job I applied for awhile ago. They just restarted their fiscal budget and they are ready to fill 2 positions according to senior HR rep. She liked my skill set and basically decided to reach out. They are a much bigger company and they'd definitely be a good look. I had a phone screening and it went really well (she added me on Linked in right after the interview. That's a good sign right?). She basically told me to decide which position I wanted and then that once I speak with the department rep, I should be good to go. She called me back like an hour later to get that squared away. They kinda thirsty for a breh, from the context clues I'm getting.

I get a couple of job offers all the time, but the pay is generally the same and not really the field I wanna be in. But they are talking a $10-$15K increase in salary from what I'm making right now plus it's really in the exact field I wanna be in.

Sooooo.... how do I quit gracefully while still maintaining a good relationship? Is there a way? I think the only plus of my job right now is that it's such a great networking tool and its great for mentorship/development. But the pay for the other job is too good. :ohlawd: An extra 1,000 a month would be the shyt for my savings account :damn:

Learn how to code/get some certs brehs :troll:

This new design looks like shyt by the way :ehh:

This is either going to be the best week of my professional career, or the worst..I'm nervous brehs :lupe:

I seriously think if I get this offer from my jobs competitor and I submit my two weeks notice after committing to being relocated to Jacksonville, they just might push me out the window :damn:

Damn breh we are almost in the exact same situation. I'm being recruited now with a promise of a much higher salary. I know taking this offer will crush any hopes of ever returning to my current company since both of them compete with each other. I've been stressing all weekend :snoop:

My mama said, if it's a significant amount of money, take it, because companies will be willing to drop you with no problem when it comes to their money. :yeshrug:

It's just all about making the break as clean as possible, which is the hard part.

I should've known. How'd I end up moving from Ohio to the A and the same day I get my own spot I start dating a chick from Youngstown?!! :damn:

My mom said, "Trill, you like dainty women. I thought you gonna bring home a southern belle."

I feel you on that breh..I faxed in my signed offer letter yesterday afternoon. The one last thing to make it official is for some reason they need to verify that im currently employed :dahell:..so they have to talk to either my direct manager or somebody in a HR role..my direct manager is a big hell no so I gave them the number to a HR rep..now im like :lupe: waiting for them to confirm the shyt before I go hand in my 2 week notice to my manager today...why do they need to confirm im currently employed anyways?

They probably are about to try and verify your currently salary to see if it matches what you told them on the low. :ld:
