I reconnected with a friend and I wish I hadn't. She has been dealing with this same abusive guys for going on 20 years now. He beat her up not long ago and because she has MS and is considered disabled, the state filed charges. The weird thing was she sent me a pic of her all beat up, then 2-3 pics later (she also sent pics of her kids), she sends a pic of the two of them together with the caption "Don't we look like best friends" This has been going on for so long that I just don't want to deal with it.That's why I fell back in the first place.
