:francis:People got to stop quitting jobs so hastily without a second job lined up. My friend is now struggling to find work after quitting her nice corporate gig because she wanted to move back to Atlanta from Dallas.

Hey, Pro-Police People, you feel that adrenaline bubbling in your stomach because you don’t really know what this article is about?

That’s called pre-judging and not really trying to understand. Stop that, it’s tacky.

To read more of the article here is the link shout out to the writer @DPresidential

There are two ways you can approach it. If you're just looking to buy homes to rent, then you can try to partner up with an agent. You really just need a listing of homes. To get my real estate license, I'll have to invest about $2000 - $2500 total. Plus maybe $1000-$1500 per year to maintain the license. So far I've paid:

-$199 for 60hrs of class time
-$122 for the exam (it's $61 but had to take it twice)
-$90 to apply for the license

I still have to affiliate with a broker and once I do that I have to affiliate with a Realtor Board which is another $400 or so and then to have access to the MLS is another bunch of money. There are some other miscellaneous fees. and I also have to renew every two years and take continuing education credits as well. Check the Georgia Real Estate Commission website to see what you have to do for your state. The only good thing about being a licensee is that you get commission on sales and listings.

I've been in sales all my life (about 8 years experience), plus I've worked for Remax. :jbhmm:

Maybe I should start looking into being a realtor. :jbhmm:
