I budgeted $5000 just to make some basic updates/repairs to the house. The kitchen updates ate clean into most of that and I had some plumbing stuff that came up in my inspection that the sellers gave me money for that I'm getting taken care of tomorrow. Then I just want to paint and I should be good to go for now. I need new windows and I have 14 total . My yard is partially fenced so I got a quote and that shyt was $3500 because my neighbors all have vinyl fences and I wanted to match so it wouldn't look stupid. So I said fukk that fence If I had to put out money, I'd do the windows before a fence for sure.
