1. Swipe card
2. Enter Pin
3. Await Processing
4. Receive cash back (if consumer chooses to do so)
5. Await receipt

(that's assuming there's funds in the account or if the person enters their pin correctly or the swipe machine is functioning correctly)


1. Hand over money
2. Get change (if necessary)
3. Await receipt


Cash > Swipe in terms of efficiency at the register. No way around it. Too many variables you can't control for when you swipe.

Ive seen this happen too many times. It just happened, for the umpteenth time.
