We already have a million, and I go to the library and check out a few every week-2. He loves books. His favorites right now are “If you were spaghetti” and “Where are you little nut brown hare”, we work on him pointing out where something is in a book like “can you show me the blue cat”

And I just signed up for this subscription box of Black authors and Black main characters called imagine me, it’s from the UK. $26 for one book cause of shipping is a lot but I will try it for six months.

That's great. The alien next door is what got my younger son to finally love chapter books. My older son really got into reading real books during COVID with The Magic Treehouse series

I’m going back to air drying my clothes on a rack. It’s much better for your clothes and here in Cali we get a lot of sun + dry heat so it’s a no brainer.

Put the clothes out to dry in the morning and by the time you get home from work your clothes are good to go.

Saves on the electricity, too

Just here to vent my depression has gone so far that I don’t feel sad anymore it’s just a numb feeling most of the time trying to put a mask on for the public I just don’t have people in my life anymore to truly vent to and I’ve gotten used to it idk if that’s progress or acceptance :laff:

You dry em outside? If so do they get that “outside” smell?
