I can't lie y'all. I'm super p***** at my mom. Today is her birthday and I just don't even feel like dealing with her ass but I will fake it until I can escape.
I am a very direct communicator and she always does this really childish passive form of communication, and that s*** is so frustrating.
I kept asking her over and over "What do you want to do for your birthday?" She said she didn't want to do anything. We literally offered to take her shopping on Sunday or do something today. She didn't want to do anything.
So I went out and I spent all day on Saturday, almost twelve hours looking for her a perfect gift.
So yesterday she just randomly decides to go shopping with my dad and literally bought herself the exact same thing that I bought her.
I don't understand why she didn't take the offer on Sunday or today.
I wasted a whole day and now I literally have nothing to give her on her birthday.
If she would have just been honest then I could have just taken her shopping. But instead she wastes my time and money being fukking goofy.
How hard is it to communicate like a fukking adult? I can't wait until today is over.
I'm never doing that shyt again. It's not like she ever gets me thoughtful well thought out gifts anyway.

While I do feel like I am probably more upset than warranted, this isn't the first time she's done something like this and wasted my money saying that she didn't want to do something that she actually wanted to do.
