I really see him being a great all around contributer as the season progresses. The man doesn't make bonehead plays or take bad shots but always contributes and plays hard defense that's what I like to see out of players like that :wo:

Amazing how last year everyone in the thread was arguing Clarkson vs. Russell, Nance vs. Randle, who to release first between Young and Lou Williams, etc; but now all the young core are thriving and our vets are playing their asses off.

I'm saying the only way they could trade Deng's horrible contract is to take an equally awful one in return.
It's a dogshyt deal, but I'll maintain that Deng is a true pro and has a positive influence on the young core. They're playing him out of position too. He thrived as a small ball PF in Miami last year.

Evan Turner ain't shyt, he's just in a shyt place. Portland jammed their entire fukking roster without going after any legit stars.
What's the difference between the Lakers and say the Timberwolves? You need some vets who are quality people/pros to guide young players. Good organizations surround their youngsters with those vets.16 m a year to provide a vet presence
