What's the difference between the Lakers and say the Timberwolves? You need some vets who are quality people/pros to guide young players. Good organizations surround their youngsters with those vets.

i guess i feel we have enough vets with lou. nick. gov and artest

Lou and Nick are showing Dangelo and Clarkson how to go out and make a mark on a game by scoring.

I think Ingram benefits from that to an extent as well, But he's benefitting more from Artest. That mental toughness and scrappiness on the defensive side is something we would love to rub off on him.

That mental toughness is also Rubbing off on Randle too :wow:

Lowkey Deng has been a productive two-way player (moreso In the past) and I'm sure he has plenty of tips for Randle and Ingram.

And best of all Zubac can learn a lot from Mozgov in terms of ball movement and off the ball movement. Staying active. Zubac is an upgraded more athletic Mozgov and he should be groomed well.

Overall what you see out there is guys who believe in their individual talent and are hungry to show Laker fans what they truly can do.

Let's finally remember we had one of our own infiltrate a very successful GS and managed to steal some of their thunder in a bottle. (This year it's less about Jeanie and Jim and more about the talent on the floor) Luke is a fantastic basketball mind. he was a high IQ player when he was playing with Kobe and he's witnessed first hand what it takes to have star power. he has embodied the modern-day offense for his entire career (including playing career)

Nobody expected those two to be mentors that is why Mitch went out and paid 60 mil for mentors and now that backfired. Calderon deal is useless too, at least he is expiring

Lakers
I'm liking the idea of moving Russell to the 2 and acquiring a point guard but who:jbhmm: Pelicans are hot garbage. Jrue Holiday could be available:patrice:

I'm saying the only way they could trade Deng's horrible contract is to take an equally awful one in return.

It's a dogshyt deal, but I'll maintain that Deng is a true pro and has a positive influence on the young core. They're playing him out of position too. He thrived as a small ball PF in Miami last year. :manny:

He's on the wrong side of 30 and has a big 3 or 4 yrs contract. No one's taking him without givintg an equally awful contract back. Might as well keep him :manny:

Keep Deng. Dude is great locker room presence and his overall IQ/size/experience is great from your young kids to learn from especially if he defends them in practice.

Dude is a glue guy and a grow guy. Teams are just better and more cohesive when he's around.

So Cal
YALL CRYIN BOUT CLARKSON, WE ACTUALLY SHOULD USE HIM MORE.. ONLY 7 SHOT ATTEMPTS TODAY. WISH SOME OF THOSE SHOTS BY DENG WENT TO CLARKSON INSTEAD. HE HIT A PIVOTAL THREE IN THE FOURTH. DID MAKE SOME ERRORS DOWN THE STRETCH, BUT THATS WHY I SAY HE NEED TO GET IN A BETTER RHYTHM AND MORE INVOLVED IN THE FLOW AS OPPOSED TO NEEDING TO FORCE THE OFFENSE BECAUSE HE AINT GETTIN THE LOOKS NATURALLY.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT INGRAM RUNNIN POINT.. I LIKE HIM BETTER WHEN HE CATCHIN THE BALL ON THE WING, BUT IT SEEMED TO WORK TONIGHT, SO CANT COMPLAIN. THE GROWTH CONTINUES.
he's had those same critical errors damn near every game. he's responsible for 2 Ls at least.

I've said a bunch of times they're gonna have to trade Randle, but I love this guy. He's getting under someone's skin almost every game now. :heh:
Yeah between him and Nick Young I don't know who I did a bigger 180 on. Randle is using his size and speed to create mismatches. While I hated his ugly ass shot attempts they seem to be effective so fukk it. Plus he seems to be passing more now too though not enough for my liking yet.

Y'all gettin too excited ..5-4? Ok.

This team will win 20 games tops..

Need a superstar in this league, & none of these laker players have that potential

Still salty because the Lakeshow whooped Golden State's ass :mjlol:

Just awful, awful posting. The way this Laker team is playing, you gotta be incredibly dumb to think they will only win 20 games this season.

So are you gonna put your money where your mouth is and accept @KOBE ban bet or are you gonna keep running your mouth talking nonsense? :sas1:
