Remember Me was grimy too :whew:

Sticky Fingaz killed that shyt.

"So think what I'ma do to you, have done to you
Got nikkas in my hood who'd do that shyt for a blunt or two"

:damn:

Eminem's rhyme scheme in his verse was insane. And his commentary on Columbine was nice too.

"Sick sick dreams of picnic scenes, two kids, sixteen
with M-16's and ten clips each
And them shyts reach through six kids each
And Slim gets blamed in Bill Clint's speech to fix these streets?"

That record was crazy! Sticky, Em and RBX all came through on that bytch! :damn:

Yeah..shyt is a classic without question.

Under the Influence

Shoulda never had that homo skit tho..:francis: that shyt was :scust:

Great album when it came out but did not age well. I cannot listen to the album without skipping half the tracks, some classic material but some straight up trash material.

3.5 mics.

As I listen to it now, the only songs I've wanted to skip is Kim (all the screaming n shyt is annoying) and Under The Influence (never liked the beat).

That's it tho.

Yup. I seen it happen time and time again.

Then I remember hearing his songs on the Soundbombing 2 (Any Man) and Next Friday soundtrack (Murder) soundtracks.

Any Man is probably my favorite Eminem song. I would have loved to see 1999-2001 Em on straight boom-bap production.

His rhyme schemes on this were :scust:

And this was back when his flow was fluid, so none of the shyt sounded forced. He was ripping syllables off his tongue and it sounded natural.

"Give me eleven Excedrin, my head'll spin
Medicine got me revvin' like a 747 jet engine"

"A brainiac, with a cranium packed, full of more uranium
than a maniac Saudi Arabian
A highly combustible head, spazmatic
strapped to a Kraftmatic adjustable bed"

you got 18 tracks, 4 corny skits. So you're left with 14 tracks, out of those 14 I skip the real slim shady, kill you, who knew, remember me, drug ballad and I'm back. So I'm left with just 8 tracks on an 18 track album

I sit back with this pack of Zig Zags and this bag
Of this weed it gives me the shyt needed to be
The most meanest MC on this - on this Earth
And since birth I've been cursed with this curse to just curse
And just blurt this berserk and bizarre shyt that works
And it sells and it helps in itself to relieve
All this tension dispensing these sentences
Getting this stress that's been eating me recently off of this chest

Oh yeah, Slim Shady is corny but it's not so bad that I feel like skipping. It's just neither here nor there to me.

The other songs you named are some of the best songs on the album! :dahell:

to each their own my dude, I just feel like em has all the talent in the world can spit with the best of them and destroy some of the best. But he chose to spend half his career making songs like the real slim shady, without me, my name is.
