Jerry Krause convinced Reinsdorf to dead the MJ Bulls. There’s billions on the line with a player like Luka, I don’t think there’s any convincing them to trade him unless that’s what they already wanted to do

The ownership is cheap. They weren’t trying to pay Luka $375 million when he’s known for being fat, out of shape and flames out in the playoffs every season.A shame we won’t ever get the real truth about that deal imo. The Grimes for Martin deal was bozo status as well.

He was still rightEven if that’s the case not shopping him around and getting a bidding war going and only approaching one team when he’s one of the most valuable assets in the league was malpracticeYou have to be naive to believe a franchise player could get traded without the owners input. Clearly they made the call because they don’t want to pay him the max, either that or they agreed with the NBA that they’d give the Lakers their new franchise player if they get Flagg.
It’s a shame Nico is being the fall guy
Let’s be real, dude is a scapegoat. Luka trade don’t happen without the owner’s AND Adam Silver's approval
Very weird shyt going on in the nba
Flames out in the playoffs every season yet took them to the Finals the year before. The ownership is cheap. They weren’t trying to pay Luka $375 million when he’s known for being fat, out of shape and flames out in the playoffs every season.
Just a minute ago you blamed ownership for being cheap as to why Luka was traded, but here you are trying to give credit to Nico for being right in trading him.Salute to Nico HarrisonHe was still right
lol naw that was the PR "united front, the future is bright" interview. I need the real explanationBreh, he’s literally already done that.
He’s publicly stated it was all his idea, he then took it to Dumont (who laughed at the thought of it) and then he convinced him trading Luka was best for the franchise. He let his ego get the best of him because Luka wouldn’t bend to his will (dating back to 2023). Once Cuban no longer had any say, that was Nico’s cue to put his plan into action.

Grimes would’ve had to be paid either this past summer or next summer, so that was another cost cutting move. Nico had to take the fall.
You know you’ve done something right when both the white folks and half white, light skinned dark skinned cracka mutt c00ns like @Gil Scott-Heroin hate you
Salute to Nico HarrisonHe was still right

Is he being paid $375 million?Just for AD to get predictably injured right after getting to the team, then show up to training camp out of shape![]()
