one of them is my grandmother on my mother's side is still alive at family gatherings even though she died in October of 2020. It doesn't feel like she's dead cause I didn't see her in the casket (Zoom funeral) .

Zoom funerals?? Man. I'm so sorry you had to say goodbye like that.

This is kinda crazy though... My mom passed in 2006 and one of my recurring themes is she is still alive, I still see her, but she completely ignores me and my dad.

I'm gonna do some googling on these meds and dreams. There has to be a way to stop this

I slacked off for a minute but recently started back up and it's help a lot.

It just made me think damn. He's a professional and couldn't seem to figure out his personal issues.

Right before Christmas is hard if they have family. They must have had a lot going on. I'd try and hold on until about Feb if I could.

Imagine being a psychologist not only dealing with your issues but other people's issues as well

Have either of you ever taken medication for this or any of the mental health issues you deal with and did they work?

I took zoloft back in 2013 for six months and stopped. Would never do that again.

Some of those shrinks are crazy themselves trying to diagnose crazy in everybody but themselves. Then again, it takes one to know one.

That's crazy. My cousin did say she has a friend who is a therapist who sees a therapist herself. Shyt is crazy.

I know this has been said before but stay off social media. shyt is depressing.

Yesterday, I was feeling a bit down and I looked at the instagram of a very minor celebrity (this person is a podcaster).

Anyway down the rabbit hole i go, I click on the people making the comments profiles and see their lives (and see how perfect they are living) and that shyt depressed the fukk out of me.

Then I realized people put the best parts of their lives on there.

Anyways, every day is a new slate, don't dwell on the past, focus on the present.

My therapist told me the same thing. She goes to a therapist and suffered from depression too.
