Here's the cliff notes version of ados (which for most of the time was called dos) came about it, the connection to Cosby and how people started to organize around it.

2016
Breaking Brown Live launches with Irami the night of the election. Yvette is still working for Boyce until the end of the year. The same year Yvette speaks at Boyce's All Black National Convention hosted by Rev. Cosby.

2017
Dr. Cosby in a recommendation from Boyce invites Yvette to speak at the West Lousiville forum which her and Tone attend in 2018 along with Angela Project. These objectives are largely appeals to religious communities for group action This is the first lecture.

The idea for chapters and meetup groups was heavily pushed by Yvette's cohost Irami with the goal to forum local community meetup groups to formulate over local black politics. This local group idea was two years in the making. Yvette and Irami split because they had disagreements on how to go about. Irami still does his local political organing show. This was their first attempt, after this they split.

2018
This is when ados and Yvette and Tone's following is getting bigger but there's still no formal agenda (ados 101) website, meeting, t-shirts..nothing. ADOS is being called DOS or AADOS at this time, even NBA. Yvette's listeners take it upon themselves to locally organize and do what Yvette and Tone were planning. Many of Yvette and Tone's listeners were already involved in local politics. They didn't need order or help from Yvette. Some of these people spoke at the conference.

Listen to Yvette's FBA/ADOS vid. The first caller speaks on how she and other listeners decided to form their own meetups independently of Yvette.

By late 2018 the local community groups are everywhere!! The names ADOS finally sticks. Reparations is the agenda

Around this time after Luvvie fiasco Tariq picks up on many of the same sentiments expressed by Yvette. By late 2018 he using ados

2019
This is when shyt pops off

Kamala announces presidency in January
...
There's online pushback, many people including the most visible Tariq starts using #ados
......
MSNBC launches a story that bots are trying to undermine Kamala Harris using dos ados. Real ados supporters pushback and become activated on Twitter. Tone eventually launches ados101 that lays out the agenda and data points him and Yvette have been using for years.
...
A month or so later, Talib Kweli launches an attack on ados calling us right-wing

The ados conference happens
....
The NYT article comes out which deads the right-wing theory, but Tariq the next day makes a tweet seemingly endorsing Trump, a week or so before he decided to launch the FBA conference.

and here we are. 2019 has just been and amplification of the work and connections that took place prior to this year. The formal agenda ados101 and the strategies like down-ballot and project takeover laid out months ago at the conference is the culmination of the work done.

....

This is 100% facts. Repped breh.

It's important to note here that the only reason Talib launched his failed attack, calling us right-wing, #ADOSisTrash, etc. is because his brother, Jamal Greene, is on Kamala's staff.

He wanted to discredit ADOS by any means necessary, once he saw us getting at her heavily on twitter, to ensure that his family had a seat at the table if she was to win the Presidency.

I want y'all to look very closely at the fact that this tweet is damn near a year old and still only has 6 likes and no retweets, even though he supposedly has a million followers.

Go to his page right now, and look at the fact that all of his tweets barely receive on average more than 2 or 3 retweets and about 7 likes.

The majority of his followers are bots that he paid for, but he was one of the main ones calling us bots.

Hilarious.

Thanks for the info. But when I say strategy I mean politically. Is it by forging relationships with conservatives? Mass protest? Maybe that hasn’t yet been finalized or I’m sure different ppl have different ideas...

So far it is a non partisan group that outlines a black agenda in addition to reparations. Demand and hold accountable govt officials and black legacy organizations deal with black American issues.
The co founders of ADOS (Yvette Carnell YouTube commentator and Antonio Moore Attoirney and political commentator on youtube ) position on voting in the presidential election is to demand the candidates adhere to a platform that includes reparations and a specific black agenda and if they don't then co-founders ADOS position is to "vote down ballot" meaning show up to the polls leave blank or write in ADOS on the Presidential Canidates box and vote for candidates in lower offices or also leave those boxes blank of those candidates are not up to par.

ADOS intends to leverage the Demoractic vote because black people vote Democrat at the highest rate of any race group.
Republicans are not being directly courted by ADOS because Trumps policies are anti big government (Tax cuts) Big govt. Is needed to fund policies that help black Americans.

Also ADOS intends to inform and educate black Americans about civics and poltics and race wealth disparities.
to get involve with traditional historic black organizations ex. NAACP Nat. urban league, black church. These organizations have been neglectful black issues in modern times instead of running away as a response Ados intends to get involved in membership and inspire change from the inside.
Also regional ADOS groups political advicacy groups have recently been formed and met with congresswomen and Congressmen.
Their is also a new related ados caucaus website.
Also in October they had a ADOS conference visited by Presidential Canidate Marriene Williamson and Dr. Cornel West.

“No one wins when the family feuds.” she makes good points.

I just clicked play, but if that's her angle, that's the angle that all serious folks should be on.

This shyt ain't about Tariq, Yvette, or Tone.

ADOS has taken on a life of it's own, as it was designed to do, and there's independent chapters popping up over the country full of folk that are about real grassroots politics and ignoring distractions.

I will say that I was always leary of Tariq pushing ADOS, because I've never felt that he was about real politics, he's about whatever is going to get his name out there.

With all that being said, I don't give a fukk about none of this shyt they all have going on right now.

What it's made me do is get even more serious about pushing the data and ignoring all bullshyt and distractions.

We don't have time for none of that.

Even though I have some issues with the line of thinking politically (helping the GOP take power pretty much guarantees reparations will never come to pass), if this inspires Black folks, especially the youth, to be much more engaged politically, then that's a good thing. Whether you support/oppose the ADOS/reparations movement, I think it's universally agreed that we don't currently have an effective means of pushing a Black agenda. Either way it's going to be interesting to see this play out, especially with a resurgent white nationalism in the background.

Its interesting that blacks are framed as helping the GOP.

The Democrats if they dont come with a focused agenda on specific black issues like reparations etc then the Democratic party is actually helping the Repubs.

If Democrats don't support
Latinos and Gays interest they would withdraw votes if Dems don't focus on their agenda (
immigration etc)
They are never accused of helping the republicans.

It has been impossible to win with out the black vote. If say ADOS mentality spread to all blacks and say 90% adamantly with held support unless they got a reparations/ black agenda as a condition the dems would be pressured to adopt a reparations platform.

The issue is blacks have been hesitant to be self interested in this way out of fear of the GOP even though Trump already passed the worst Tax cuts in modern American history.

This was stayed through numerous YouTube shows from @Breaking brown and @Tonetalks
And at the ADOS conference with over 1000 people present and 1000s viewing online.
Their last episode of breaking Brown mentions this.

It may seen funny or defeating the purpose to some but

If black voters pledge to arrive at the polls and for the presidential candidate box leave it blank/ADOS if no black agenda no reparations platform from Democrats. It will send a message to respect the black vote.
Example.

Local Democratic Congressman leave blank write in ADOS

Mayor box: leave blank/ write in ADOS

Court Clerk leave blank/ write in ADOS

More often than not someone on the democratic ticket a black votee may vote for but if the local official like a mayor or court clerk is really horrible show up leave it blank/ write in ADOS.

If a sizable amount of black voters did this and engaged their local politicians behind the scenes the effect would be powerful.

In subsequent elections do the same.

I don't know what to tell anyone if they can't understand this concept.

Does anyone understand what I just posted? Dap if you do!
