The full court press in the media to justify giving it to Jokic though is crazy. Like it was straight up this one game determines it all. I didn’t expect that.

Breh, there was an entire Coli thread busy for over a week before the game about how this match was going to decide MVP. And multiple other threads in anticipation. It's not just a media narrative, until Embiid sat even Embiid fans were pushing that agenda cause they thought he would show out like last time.


I would prefer Embiid win, but if he doesn't these missed games are a big reason why. Any of the top candidates could legitimately deserve it.
