I can end that tanking shyt right here. The 14 teams that dont make the playoffs, have them play in a single elimination playoff. The top 2 records of those 14 teams get a 1st rd bye.
The winner of the playoff gets the #1 pick
This playoff can start right after the final day of the regular season. That way, we have some games before the real playoffs start. You want the #1 pick? Win 3 or 4 games in 4 days
What incentive do players currently on the team have for playing hard....for a draft pick?
