Win 5 championships let some cac call your contract toxic brehs.

Oh yeah and you don't make this thread if Da Gawd ain't on this list

These cacs are ridiculous. Kobe will return next year to his usual 27-5-5. The contract will be considered a hometown discount then.
Amin is East African.

Derrick Rose has the worst contract in the nba right now. It's taking up 25-30% of the cap and he has missed 130+ games since signing it

and it escalates over the next 3 years :snoop:

New Orleans/VA/Nashville
IMO, Eric Gordon had to stay in New Orleans to make the Chris Paul trade worth it, especially after the "basketball reasons" fiasco. Atleast we were able to get The Brow.

It's stupid to put kobe on this list for the simple fact his extension was offered for the expressed purpose of him staying these next two seasons and retiring a Laker...trading him was never an option, it's a deliberately "unmovable contract" ...A) that was pretty much the entire point...B) he has a no-trade clause :heh:....the lakers were concerned about sending off an iconic all-time great player...not some desperate nickle and diming to finally win a championship that's been escaping them

"Hey guys, we want to keep Kobe a Laker, and he already has a no-trade clause so he can stay as long as he wants...but we better go 'head and make it a 'deliberately unmovable contract' anyway and give him this 48 mil lifetime achievement bonus just to be safe."

Makes sense.

look at my dap to post ratio compared to you

Be one of the primary reasons your employer generates billions of dollars of revenue during your 20 years of service, and maybe you'd understand...the concept of the highest tier of NBA superstars being underpaid, is not a foreign concept...he spent the majority of his NBA career being underpaid...the contract was offered with the intention of rewarding a guy that's an all-time great and a franchise legend in the twilight of his career, not whether or not it could it have the flexibility to be moved down the line...in the context of the rest of the list and writer's definition of "toxic", his inclusion just doesn't really make sense
