The Nets not winning the title this year would be the biggest fail in NBA history

On one hand, I hear ya. On the other, I don’t. They are a supremely talented team and if they stay healthy they seem to be a juggernaut. They definitely seem to be favorite at the moment. But you lying if you can’t acknowledge how just about everyone on that team had been questioned or written off in some fashion.
KD: coming off a catastrophic injury that took a whole season from him and had people wondering if he’d ever be the same; been called a beta since his OKC days and that was amplified when he bolted for GSW
Ky: questioned on numerous occasions whether he even wants to play ball mostly because he doesn’t conform to what others expect of him; pretty much was told he wasn’t shyt without Bron and was later blamed for Boston’s failures
Harden: has been roundly criticized for coming up short in the playoffs; lambasted (albeit rightfully so) for how he left Houston

Hell, it sounds stupid now but people were openly questioning how a team with KD, Ky, and Harden could even function?

Aldridge: washed

These cats are defying expectations low-key. BK deserves some credit for the team they have assembled. And to think we haven’t even really seen them at full strength. They’ve made trades and overcome injuries to field a team that looks unstoppable. I think they are honestly exceeding expectations. If you go back to the beginning of the season I don’t think they were the clear favorites. But look at them now. Look at them now, brehs. :wow:

so if the lakers got kawhi you would've had the same attitude? Let's say Bron + AD + Kawhi goes 16-1 in the offs with Bron as FMVP....you would've said it does nothing for Bron's legacy cuz they didn't go undefeated?

That team isn’t on the Nets level, especially with depth due to salaries...

But individual legacies is a different story. I was talking about team legacy. Individual legacies depends on how individuals play..

There will never be a bigger fail in sports than going 73 - 9 with the only unanimous mvp in league history and then losing the finals after being up 3 - 1

NEVER

That's actually the only historic thing that warriors run produced :wow:

That is the thing they are going to be in the record books for :wow:

they are....we have bron and Ad and we tried to add Kawhi at one point.....KD can't just have a brick wall on his legacy cuz he performs other nikkas tactics better than then. KD is competing against his peer Bron by putting together these teams
Breh literally in here arguin for the Nets and against his own squad just cause he hate Bron so much. What a fukkin weirdo

but if they win it doesn't raise them in the all time rankings at all, right? :sas1:
What team in history other than the KD Warriors could the best player miss 30+ games and still have the best record in the conference and top 3 record in the league? On top of that the 3rd best player also has missed 15 games. Harden the second best player about to miss the next 10 days and didn't even play on the team for the first 10 games or so.

So yeah a win doesn't really affect their individual rankings too much.

Depends on injuries (KD) and focus on the game (Kyrie).

If they all had 70 games + seasons plus full playoffs then you might have a point trumping Miami Heat 2011. But if they barely play half the season, idk if you can make a fair comparison.

Other than that they are playing other stacked cheat code teams who are healthy who have had the chance to get their game together by playing for a season or two.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
As to the thread topic, I’m probably picking the between the 03-04 Lakers, 12-13 Lakers, and 10-11 Heat as biggest disappointments in League history

That 12-13 Lakers in particular because they had such high hopes with a core of Kobe, Nash, Gasol, Howard, and World Peace—barely made the playoffs only to get swept by their rival Spurs
