It wouldn’t have mattered, that team was a steaming pile of shyt![]()
They were shyt the 2nd half of that season?

Harden and Kyrie with no KD are heavy favorites to win the title??
I agree with your other two scenarios though.
Breh stop thatI agree they should plow through their conference but the Cappers are a very worthy opponent. They’ll wash up anyone else though
Beginning of the season KD was never gonna be the same, Kyrie wasn’t a top twenty player and didn’t want to play basketball and Harden was a choke artist. The only Superstar from last year was Harden so that’s one superstar. Aldridge and Blake ain’t been all stars in at least two years. Who is the third one? DJ?Nah, the heat only two superstars and one allstar.
Nets have 3 superstars, and three fading allstars. Plus people forgetting that they still got Spencer Dinwiddle too. So next year they will be even more stacked. Thats 7 players that can start for most teams.![]()
To be honest I don’t rememberThey were shyt the 2nd half of that season?
maybe you're right. So why are they being hyped to win a title if it's just James Harden and a bunch of scrubs?Beginning of the season KD was never gonna be the same, Kyrie wasn’t a top twenty player and didn’t want to play basketball and Harden was a choke artist. To be honest I don’t remember
I just know they didn’t come close to meeting expectations; it was a colossal train wreck
I just remember the bad timesThey had the best record in the league the 2nd half of the season. You’re right the first half was a train wreck though. If Kobe didn’t get hurt that first round series vs the Spurs would’ve been the de facto WCF.
Because now everyone sees KD is still KD and Kai being a fringe top 30 player (bc he couldn’t drag those bums in Boston to a title or stay healthy) were ridiculous takes. Now add in Harden who wants to win and contribute any way possible, which was opposite of what y’all were saying, y’all are panicking.maybe you're right. I was calling them fading stars because they are washed. Wasn't saying they are allstars. THats why i made that distinction between them and chris bosh who i just simply called an all star. former allstars can still give you all star level games on a given night when you don't need much from them, which make them better than average role players. these players fall off because they can no longer perform at a high level for 48 minutes anymore, not because they forgot how to play.Because now everyone sees KD is still KD and Kai being a fringe top 30 player (bc he couldn’t drag those bums in Boston to a title or stay healthy) were ridiculous takes. Breh nobody would call LMA, DJ and Blake all stars on any other team. Them dudes are washed unless they are role players in a system with great players. That means they are not all stars. If they all stay healthy, it’s true that there isn’t a team that can beat them in a seven game series but they aren’t ever healthy so we’ll see. Nobody has crowned them yet except for the clowns like that cac that keeps making threads about their legacies in hopes of jinxing them.

Just call them role players though breh or former stars. Fading means they are still capable but are losing their stardom. I get what you’re saying though bc they can pick up the slack easily when needed. They just aren’t the number one or two or three options anymore.I was calling them fading stars because they are washed. Wasn't saying they are allstars. I'm not sure why people think they are such an overwhelming favorite.
