Nah, the heat only two superstars and one allstar.

Nets have 3 superstars, and three fading allstars. Plus people forgetting that they still got Spencer Dinwiddle too. So next year they will be even more stacked. Thats 7 players that can start for most teams. :deadmanny:
Beginning of the season KD was never gonna be the same, Kyrie wasn’t a top twenty player and didn’t want to play basketball and Harden was a choke artist. The only Superstar from last year was Harden so that’s one superstar. Aldridge and Blake ain’t been all stars in at least two years. Who is the third one? DJ?:deadmanny:

maybe you're right. So why are they being hyped to win a title if it's just James Harden and a bunch of scrubs?

To be honest I don’t remember

I just know they didn’t come close to meeting expectations; it was a colossal train wreck

They had the best record in the league the 2nd half of the season. You’re right the first half was a train wreck though. If Kobe didn’t get hurt that first round series vs the Spurs would’ve been the de facto WCF.

Because now everyone sees KD is still KD and Kai being a fringe top 30 player (bc he couldn’t drag those bums in Boston to a title or stay healthy) were ridiculous takes. Now add in Harden who wants to win and contribute any way possible, which was opposite of what y’all were saying, y’all are panicking.

Breh nobody would call LMA, DJ and Blake all stars on any other team. Them dudes are washed unless they are role players in a system with great players. That means they are not all stars. If they all stay healthy, it’s true that there isn’t a team that can beat them in a seven game series but they aren’t ever healthy so we’ll see. Nobody has crowned them yet except for the clowns like that cac that keeps making threads about their legacies in hopes of jinxing them.

I was calling them fading stars because they are washed. Wasn't saying they are allstars. THats why i made that distinction between them and chris bosh who i just simply called an all star. former allstars can still give you all star level games on a given night when you don't need much from them, which make them better than average role players. these players fall off because they can no longer perform at a high level for 48 minutes anymore, not because they forgot how to play.

Just call them role players though breh or former stars. Fading means they are still capable but are losing their stardom. I get what you’re saying though bc they can pick up the slack easily when needed. They just aren’t the number one or two or three options anymore.

I'm not sure why people think they are such an overwhelming favorite.

I've been saying this since the season started (lest we forget, PLENTY of people were saying the Nets would roll thru The East before they got Beard, all the receipts are on here). For many of the same reasons you outlined...

But cats dismissed it as haterade, so its all good. We'll all find out soon enough...
