:what: The inconsistency in this post. You said the NFL fell off when Chad Johnson fell off, but with the Bengals in the 'offs its complete shyt. You know Johnson played for the Bengals right?

the NFL isnt literally dying. the game of football is becoming more and more a farce with questionable and usually offense-favored calls

yes there are tons of casual fans who watch football, but because they will eat it up why cant we complaing about bullshyt going on ? :what:
I never understood that part. just because something makes money is popular and etc. doesnt mean its good. and all the criticism is dismissed as 'hating'.
Is the game of football dying? I understand that argument. The actual game, at the professional level.

I don't wanna hear the business of the National Football League is, though.

I dont get it though

not much has changed yet it seems people are moving on
1. Watered down product
2. Lack of star QBs
3. Social justice warrior agenda

4. ADD. Kids have lower attention spans with every passing generation. The NFL has 11 minutes of action in 3 hour broadcasts. Wouldn't be shocked if the NBA/CFB are neck in neck with the NFL in popularity 40 years from now

5. The sport of football is losing participation

I dont know about the NBA

too many fouls, not enough constant action

college football is definitely more entertaining

The NBA also has a parity problem so who knows

Maybe sports in general won't be as big of a part of American culture in the coming decades
