They had the right idea. They were closer to a solution that was beneficial for black people as opposed to the whole integration one.
I'll say that much.

How do you explain this to an atheistI don't see anything bolded, but are you saying ADOS is a spiritual organization?I also don't see them discuss the phsycological issues or disfunction unless they can exploit it for why we need money for suffering for it. To me that doesn't constitute dealing with mental health. It means you are exploiting peoples mental illness for money while not actually dealing with the issues. Much like the mental health setup that America has in place for Americans already. NOI knew that had to be dealt with before nation building. The church knows this as well, but they skip out on the nation building all together. Under the belief that people who are good spirituality will heal the world. Not horrible in theory until you realize the bible itself tells you the world can't be healed and only a few will truly be good. The bible itself even preaches nation building, just has been misinterpreted by black Christians who aren't truly chosen or have discernment.
well you can believe who you want to believe, but I'm telling you right now that Malcolm was lying. He was prideful and arrogant and let himself be duped by white people who played to his ego and made him believe that he should be the leader of the Nation.
Malcolm was a pimp and a hustler before Elijah Muhammad taught him and raised him to be the Malcolm X that you know and respect. How you gon respect the student but not respect the man that taught him? backwards thinking, bro.
If you say Malcolm was great, then the man who taught him wasn't greater than him? Malcolm himself credited Elijah Muhammad for everything that he was.
Now with that being said, Malcolm's ego was out of control. He began to think that he should be the leader and not Elijah Muhammad and when he went out there and started talking trash about JFK's assasination (which Elijah Muhammad had SPECIFICALLY told his ministers to NOT speak on), he was sat down as a minister for 90 days (just as any person who disobeyed Elijah Muhammad would have been). When you didn't follow orders, you got sat down. That was for any member in the Nation of Islam. Malcolm wasn't special.
Instead of him taking his 90 days on the chin (you mess up, take the consequences that come with it), he decided to leave to "start his own movement" which was a failure by the way.
Malcolm gets shine today... but back in those days, nobody was paying him attention once he broke away from the Nation.
I could show you articles to prove that. For instance, there was one time when Elijah Muhammad was having an event in NYC, and Malcolm decided to hold one on the same day to try to compete with him.
Everybody showed up at Elijah Muhammad's event and hardly nobody showed up to Malcolm's event. It was such a bad turnout that the newspapers of that time were going in on Malcolm for it.
Malcolm got angry and started lashing out and saying made-up things about Elijah Muhammad because he was angry.
Which, that in itself, showed what kind of man he was on the inside. Just because you mad, you go out and lie on a man who YOU said saved your life? Nobody else said it. YOU said it. And you turn on him?
Plenty of people left the Nation over the years, and they were free to do so. But to come back and turn on the Nation and try to destroy it and lie on Elijah Muhammad just because you were mad?
nah, bro, Malcolm was lowdown. He was lowdown from the beginning and when he left the Nation, he went back to his same mindset that he had before. He had no sense of loyalty. To go running to white people trying to tear Elijah Muhammad down was the epitome of hypocrisy.
Reminds me of a lyric from Jay Z "Dig a Hole"
@ this spin
Malcolm gathered people in preparation of leaving the nation to help with his paper. Elijah played it like a European, took Malcolm to court for the house he lived in. Gave Cassius Clay the honorable name of Muhammad Ali and Ali turned his back on the man who recruited him. There was no questioning Elijah back then, if the champ fell in line, everyone else did.
The message was sent out for none of the Muslims to mess with Malcolm. Malcolm's daughters and wife even spoke on people they knew before turning their shoulder to them. But the message was not put out to not let Malcolm meet his end. Attempts on his life burning the house and his eventual death. Those were NOI members. Elijah's own son said Malcolm's tongue should be placed in an envelope.
And again, after Elijah's death, his son took over and membership started to dip. After Farrakhan took over, that's when membership started to rise as he took it back to the Muhammad Islam over the Sunni Muslim direction it was going.
Y'all need to check some of these experts on here.

Everything else that you said is completely made up.
"If the champ fell in line, everyone else did"
You know nothing about the Nation and you're not worth responding to except to say...
As far as Ali "turning his back" on anyone... when folks joined the nation, they joined the nation because of the teachings of Elijah Muhammad. Nothing else.
There was no loyalty to anyone else. Everyone in the nation was supposed to be following him, and that's who their loyalty was supposed to be to. No one else.
Especially not nobody who was ego trippin and trying to tear the nation down simply because he was mad and thought he should be the leader.
Yeah not surprised you are anti-intelligence from your political affiliations to black history.
