Word is also that Golden State's considering Jeremy Lamb at #7 because the Warriors don't like any of the front court guys available to them.

Also, Milwaukee apparently loves John Henson but doesn't think he'll be there at 12.

Lastly, Houston offers the QO to Courtney Lee, so seemingly they plan on matching offers for Lee.

I have a hard time seeing Lacob allowing anything besides a 4 or 5 to be drafted 7th. They can find an explosive guard with the 30th pick, shyt we can take the nikka in your avi 30th.

Lamb ain't gonna go that high. Atleast I hope not. Rockets need him. So we can dump Martin.

Hopefully the falling part is taking care of itself. The other half of it is for Dumars not to be a dumbass and pass on him too. I'm always a little nervous when he picks, even though he's been money the last 2 years (with the exception of that Singler pick). He's perfect for what the team needs, has no glaring character issues, and seems completely moldable. I honestly don't care about the risk of him being a bust. It's not like when we whiffed on Darko and there were several stars behind him. Nobody impresses me like that in this draft, including Davis.:yeshrug:

i think moultre and henson are okay picks but drummond seems like he has the best potential of any big we can possibly get at the ninth pick

if drummond is still there at 9 and we dont get him i'll be pretty pissed cause i was even considering trading up with portland to get him but seems like they might not want him

Supposedly he had good workouts with the Blazers and Kings, and whiffed with the Cavs and Wiz, Ford said he was outplayed by Robinson and not "destroyed" like Amico said.

I haven't checked to see how his workout with the Bobcats went, I think that was today.

Henson and Moultrie are both OKbut neither one of them can play center, (hell I'm worried if Henson can realistically play pf with his size) and I think Monroe at the 4 with Drummond learning how to play with him in the middle would be a serious problem further down the line for the rest of the east.

I'm not even overly concerned about how he does at workouts, unless their talking about him completely dogging it. Cause realistically, he's much more of a raw product than many others, and it's up to the team that drafts him to really mold him. But damn if that ain't some great clay to work with with his athletic gifts.

i want him at five
we get ben wallace as a mentor and teach him what defense is with tayshaun and monroe around him for this year, two years with monroe and drummond in the post and brandon knight becoming a smarter passer, a stronger pick and roll defense and maybe stuckey becoming a better scorer, and we are back in the east

Tremont, what's your view on Wroten?

Broken shot and I felt like he (and Ross) were major underachievers. They couldn't even get into the tourney out of the worst major conference in years. I did see them in the NIT and I kept wondering how they weren't playing so well all the time.

I wouldn't take him if I were a team that played a slower offense. Wroten would look good on a D'Antoni kind of team or a Suns team or even the Clippers. If you have to slow your offense down you can dare him to shoot all day. Really good slasher, though he can't hit FT's. His mechanics are off, but he'll get to the line all the time in the NBA. Personally I'd take a chance on him because he becomes an offensive mismatch in your favor most nights. I don't think he'll contribute immediately, so only take him if you think you can wait on his progress. It's worth developing.
