Bobcats writer Rick Bonnell "wouldn't be surprised at all" if Charlotte traded their No. 2 draft pick to Cleveland in exchange for Nos. 4 & 24.
This is a hunch based upon Bonnell's discussions with "sources with lottery picks," and it meshes with GM Rich Cho's penchant for stockpiling first-round draft picks. The Bobcats may also buy into the popular view explained by Bonnell -- "After Kentucky’s Anthony Davis goes No. 1 to New Orleans, there won’t be a big difference between the next three to five players chosen." I am praying the Cavs do this to move ahead of Washington and get Beal.

What do your sources say about the 76ers draft??

even though you didn't ask me. My sources say this is the year that the 76ers try to make a move for a player who can score involving Iggy.

With the draft pick you guy's will pick Moultrie or Sullinger. You need a big who can fill the bucket in the absence of Brand.

i think moultre and henson are okay picks but drummond seems like he has the best potential of any big we can possibly get at the ninth pick

if drummond is still there at 9 and we dont get him i'll be pretty pissed cause i was even considering trading up with portland to get him but seems like they might not want him

i think its very realistic that he may fall to us and if he does i'd take him. monroe is the offensive big so its not like we have to immediately depend on him for offense. let him focus on establishing himself as a presence in the post defensively and we could have something great down the line

Minnesota has only worked out one player -- White -- who could be considered for the No. 18 pick, according to the Star Tribune, which has lead to speculation that he's the choice. However, David Kahn may also try to trade out of the first round and that's why he has not brought in more first round prospects with under a week to go until the draft."

*Omega El Fuerte record skips & stops playing*

I'm not surprised they're shopping it. I'm expecting them to do that (they haven't worked out anyone). The uncertainty is what's annoying, especially it's set up for some big move, something I'm not sure I wanna see.

If they trade back to pick up 2 players, then that'll work. If it's some set up for the wrong Gasol, not feelin it.

Don't let me down Rick and David.

Some more tidbits leading up.

Jon Rothstein says the Blazers are really interested in drafting Terrence Ross (which would mean Ross' agent was on the money with his 6-11 prediction). That would mean every SG except Jeremy Lamb received some sort of assurance. That means a million and one PF's are gonna fall. Deepest position in the NBA.

Kevin Jones' agent is saying he received a late round promise.
Kevin Jones‘ agent says the former West Virginia star has a guarantee from one team that he will be picked in the first round of Thursday’s NBA Draft. If that doesn’t materialize, he expects Jones to go in the second round. ZagsBlog.com

“A team in the first round has committed to him,” agent Bill Neff told SNY.tv. “The question is, what does that mean? I never trust anything other than what happens on draft night". "He’ll get drafted,” Neff added. “It’s either them in the first or early second.” ZagsBlog.com
Adam Zagoria: Golden State, Portland and Sacramento showing heavy interest in former ‪#stjbb‬ star Moe Harkless, source tells @SNYtv Twitter

St. John's Moe Harkless is the most intriguing prospect among the five-player group working out for the Warriors on Sunday. There was some talk about the group including Washington's Terrence Ross, but he wasn't on the list issued by the team. The other four are Kent Bazemore (ODU), Matt Gatens (Iowa), Augustus Gilchrist (S. Florida) and Drew Viney (LMU). Sulia

If the contingent of the Warriors' basketball operations staff that wants to go big in the draft wins the argument, they'll choose between Tyler Zeller and Meyers Leonard. 'He’s definitely more polished in the post than me, but I think everyone knows that I have an athletic advantage over him," Leonard said of the comparison to Zeller. "He’s got some experience on me, but I think youth is an advantage for me. You can go back and forth." Sulia

:win:

Moe? That high? Now?

Philly won't trade their pick at 15. They'll likely draft a PF.

The Kings are also working out Kyle O'Quinn

NBA scout Ryan Blake also thinks the two Joneses will not drop past 17.

What is the infatuation with Pau Gasol, with the emergence of Bestovic I don't see why they still entertain that trade. Keep the pick and draft an SG if one is there, if not take someone like Fab.

Royce White has a lot of potential, but he plays the same damn position as Love and Williams (Still a 4, needs to prove he's s 3 before I say he's one).
