Wiggins was an All-American. Lavine had a great start but his numbers during the later part of the season are worrisome.

I always saw him as a hyperathletic Gerald Wallace with range.

Which is still damned good imo. If he can maintain Wallace's best years like when dude was averaging 2 blocks, 2 steals, and 8+ rebounds per along with consistent, physical offense for the majority of his career - which he definitely has all the tools to do - then he's absolutely worth his hype.
