nah i get what you saying, just seeing the names Mario Williams or Jadeveon Clowney as position examples for a nikka who had 0.5 sacks last season in 12 games is weird...
Given this line of thinking I guess you'll be surprised when he "breaks out" this year.
Unlike Williams and Clowney, Gary was on a line with multiple NFL caliber players. 3/4 starters were just drafted and the other guy (Hurst) came back for his final season.
Don't know if he'll be as good as either, but they didn't have the same situation going into their freshmen seasons.

No.You had less NFL talent on D-line than we did which is why Nick got more reps. If Nick were at Michigan he would have been in the same role as Carlo Kemp or he would have redshirted.
