I actually wanted several people in this draft in trade scenarios but I'm not even mad because teams and their agents did what's best for them. I mentioned lecque but he got a promise from Phoenix and they need a pg. I mentionded samanic and ofcourse spurs got him. Bazley and he went to OKC.

Brandon clarke and bol bol fell so there's where I'm like we need to make a move. Wasn't completely sold on sekou right away but tbh I felt the same about rui but at least I like his work ethic. Would prefer him as a sf tbh though. Admiral caught me off guard but the more I see the more I love. Someone that physical who can really shoot and score but chose not to for the sake of the team.

I'm ok with wizards draft and Gm.

Yeah obviously taking him at 11 was a reach when they could have gotten him 10 or more spots later, but if they tried to move back again and couldnt find any takers by the time they were up, Im not mad at just taking the guy you really like Plus there's no guarantees someone else wont take the guy you want early. I had Hachimura and Hayes in the 20s and they went 8 and 9.

Bottom line is Johnson is the best shooter in the draft and the Suns were the worst 3pt shooting team last year. If all he does is knock down open looks created by Book, Ayton, etc then that will be very valuable to this team and no one will care where he was drafted.

This was a fluid draft to be honest after 7. On my Hawks big board, I had Reddish #3 and Hunter #4. In front was Zion and R.J. We don't need a starting PG so I removed Ja, etc.

James wasn't the level of athlete Cam is. Cam is a good athlete. He tested very well and plays it as well. Cam's testing is similar if not better than Klay's. In fact, much better

Chase Budinger was a great athlete but it couldn't translate into Basketball at a higher level.

Just reading his profile, his game makes sense to me. He has historically small hands. That impacts shot contest, handles, dunking, controlling the basketball but where he makes up for it is a quicker release, great hand slot action, instinctive mind before he ever gets the ball, great at getting his body set so he doesn't have his hands do all of the work. J.J. Redikk shyt.

His agility is insane and it shows on tape. Hunter right here played elite level defense most if not 98% of the NBA can't do but look at the results and look how fast Johnson is:



When you break down Johnson's game you see an 6'8 player with elite speed and agility for position with elite BBIQ and shooting instincts. Now with his shyt hand size and lack of aggressiveness in general, you are probably looking at what LAC got out of Landry Shamet in Johnson but maybe a better shooter and better movement player in general with less defensive potential. Johnson, regardless of age, is an elite shooting prospect.

Dunleavy Jr. was a dude known for having size 6'9 230 and 245 in his prime, speed and skill but he wasn't an elite shooter and he damn sure wasn't a good athlete and you damn sure couldn't run any actions for him. He was a spot up and catch and shoot type. He wasn't agile enough or fast enough to be in actions where the results meant something positive. shyt like this is why I hate thecoli stupid nikkas. While cacs on realgm are too cocky and don't really have a clue and think everything is an analytic, nikkas just be saying shyt. If you know anything about shyt, you know this nikka ain't no Mike Dunleavy Jr. You sound stupid af as usual.

Bridges is not a natural shooter. He is a great team player and he was one of my favorite prospects but if you are going to have a PG who can't get you into the offense, you need elite shooting to overcome it.

I never liked T.J. Warren much. Wasn't much of a team player. I actually like what PHX is doing now over what they been doing.

I liked Cam Johnson. He reminded me of a less athletic taller Klay as a prospect. Klay developed into the player he is today, can't wait to see how Cam develops.
