The more I hear about increases with Soto's asking price, the more I get. But this is why I was so excited for Steve Cohen to buy the team. We are in the conversation, whereas with the Coupons it was always doing something up to a certain point and then hitting the

Soto getting traded to the Yanks and balling out added $200-300 million to his contract. If San Diego woulda kept him, no way the bidding gets this high because the Yanks would not have felt any pressure to bid up for him to this extent.
