I personally watch every inning
Juan Pierre slashed .295/.343/.361 across 15 years.
A .704 career OPS and 84 OPS+ is not good.
Having said that, there is value in having a bat that can hit .300 and get on base at an average rate.
There were only 11 guys in baseball last year to hit .295 and OBP over .340 last year.
Aaron Judge, Bo Bichette, Jake Wilson, George Springer, Jeremy Pena, Trea Turner, Yandy Diaz, Nico Hoerner, Bobby Witt Jr, Freddie Freeman, and Josh Naylor.
A bat like Juan Pierre would be happily accepted on a lot of teams in 2026.
Power isn't everything. Especially with a guy like Pierre who could steal 50 bags a year.

Maybe it'll be a short term high AAV from the Mets or Toronto finally gets a free agent on a long term deal.
I think it’s extremely risky for Bellinger to take a short term deal.
I don’t think he repeats his 2025. So unless he’s on that BALCO and turns into his Dodgers MVP self, I think he should take the 150-200M deal he likely has on the table.
