To all the Carlos Beltrán haters,

Eat a dikk.

The man is 5th in Home Runs all time amongst CF and 74 more than Marilyn Monroe's husband.

5th in RBIs. More than Mantle and DiMaggio.

8th in WAR. Not every Hall of Fame centerfielder needs to be Willie Mays or Ken Griffey. There's levels to this shyt. Once again fukk off and have a nice day.

But I thought smaller market teams weren't allowed to extend their stars. WTF.

Pittsburgh, Detroit and Cincinnati ownership must be throwing things at walls.
He's still playing for the low though. If anything, teams will look at what he's playing for and wonder why players not on his level are asking for twice as much (Tucker)

Cleveland kinda shot themselves in the foot with this one but after what he's given to the organization, I can't see too much fault. His current deal ended at age 33 right as the age related decline would hit. This extension takes him to 40 and pays him bigly for his down years.

But, he's given the team a lot and if you're not going to overpay him, who are you going to pay? Good for both parties. The city of Cleveland should treat Ramirez like a war hero.
