Don't know why im seeing people confidently expecting Kyle Tucker to get $400MM+ (seeing 450MM). Maybe im underrating but maybe im not factoring in inflation enough.

Kyle Tucker is a good player.
But he’s also just a 5.0-ish WAR player.

That’s all star level. I’m not sure it’s superstar level. If you’re gonna offer a guy 450M, you’re gonna want MVP type potential and I don’t see it here.

Maybe if he goes to LA and the Dodgers overpay, he produces a better year given all of the other talent that would be around him.

I suppose that makes him “worth it”

desperation I guess and some people (i.e. sports talk hosts) legit think Tucker at his best is on Soto's level

1 year contract compared to a 3 year option, dude was giving up mad hrs wasn’t even trusted to start game 5 of the nlds. But in a contract year
