Mendoza really shyt on him his final season Otto had an axe to grind. But Mets are trying a new to make relievers be more than one inning guys strategy. Maybe relievers don't like it.

I get what you're saying but look at what we gave up to get Murphy and Olson. The only loss was Contreras and he was already a MLB player at the time.

Alonso in B-More don't hate it. I know he's scheduled some meetings. They are definitely after a slugger. They apparently matched the Phillies offer for Schwarber but didn't get him.
