They were going to; he didn't give them a chance. Even if they came out the gate with four years, I think he walks. All signs are that he wanted to bounce. Even the reports about him being salty about the Devin Williams signing sound flimsy. Williams came in saying he knew that he would be used as a setup 8th inning pitcher.Mets could of added a 4th year if they really wanted him
I don't want Tucker. Not for what he's gonna try and command.Mets reportedly in on Tucker now
Orioles, blue jays,Yankees or long shot dodgers

Na, I love Tucker. I would love him on the Mets. Way more consistent performer than Bellinger.I don't want Tucker. Not for what he's gonna try and command.
Would rather Bellinger at a fraction of the cost/years.

I bet their AAV won't be far off thoughI don't want Tucker. Not for what he's gonna try and command.

No not at all Jeff has about a 1000 more hits and a 100 more HRS and an MVP
I hope Stearns doesn't take public transportation.
Better yet.. I hope he does.
Yea this is where I'm at too.Stearns, aka the smartest guy in the room, better have something cooking in the kitchen. I'm not a fan of 5 for Pete, but after selling 3 million tickets, letting all the long term fan favorites go isn't the best way to help ticket sales.
Don't let me catch him on the 7 train if he doesn't pull something off
